Though not a constituent of yours Iam a party member no.L1196266.
I was struck by the passion with which you spoke at conference and thought I'd add my tuppence worth with regard to the formulation of policy I live in social housing like millions of residents of all types have been dogged by companies offering deals on solar panels.
Combined with publicity about cuts to investment in renewables, such retrograde steps could be subverted by a Labour policy to include solar and other renewable technology in all future social housing new builds providing lower cost energy and lower omissions excess power would be sold back to the national grid moneys accruing used to help offset(in the very long term)some of the costs self funding grants could be made to councils and housing associations to fit solar panels to existing stock where appropriate paid for long term at least partially with funds accord from selling excess power back to the national grid I hope this provides food for thought!
